One-Meter Alt-Az Telescope Project |

The Alt-Az Telescope Project at California Polytechnic State University has two primary goals: (1) to contribute to the development of a new class of highly capable yet very economical research telescopes, and (2) to design, fabricate, and operate a 1-meter Cal Poly research telescope. The Alt-Az Telescope Project is an interdepartmental effort that encompasses the Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Physics Departments.
